About

I make a lot of stuff. From food to quilts and everything in between. I often feel like I was born in the wrong decade and that I really should have been a wife in the 50’s. I write about what I make, good or bad, and it all comes from the heart.

A little more about me… I am a twenty-something teacher who loves traveling, cooking, and crafting. I can often be found with a book in my hand and have a love of Netflix. I have a dog named Maggie. I graduated college with my masters degree in spring 2009. I still live at home, which can be both a blessing and a burden. Fortunately it allows me to save to buy a house (hopefully soon). I am a youth group leader and choir member at my church. I just got a guitar for Christmas and am slowly learning how to play.
